The Zoo

Carson had the week off and we have been busy doing projects around the house. Today we decided we needed to do one fun thing while he was off so we went to the zoo.

The last time we were there was when Noah was five months old. I can't believe how fast time flies. He loved seeing all of the animals. From the "Pee Pee's" (penguins) to the snakes-he would look disgusted and say "Eeew"

Although I think the highlight of the day for him was getting to ride the "Choo Choo"

Good-Bye Alveys

We have become close friends with Bret and Carolyn over the last couple of years.
Carolyn was the Enrichment Leader while I was the 2nd Counselor in Relief Society. We worked side by side with planning Enrichment activities. She is an amazing person. She is so detail oriented, patient, kind, keeps an IMMACULATE house, and bakes some amazing desserts! I have loved her since the first time I met her.

Bret is just as crazy as Carson and our other good friend Jared. They play well off of each other and well a good way to describe the three of them together is the 3 Stooges.

They have just moved and we are soo sad. They are amazing friends. We had one last get together with them and the Wilhelmsen's. Ethan-their little guy who's six took this picture of all of us together. He did a great job! We wish them the best and know that we will keep in touch. Can't wait until we can meet up with them sometime soon in Vail. We love you guys!

Madden's Hat, Hat

Every time I get Noah in the tub, Madden just LOvEs to watch him splash and put bubbles on his face. There's a bowl we keep in the tub and Noah has figured out that it makes a great hat. So he always makes me put it on Madden. Noah laughs so hard the second I put it on and calls it the "hat hat".

Madden doesn't seem to mind, maybe because he is too busy be entertained by his big brother.

The Bumbo

I just bought Madden a Bumbo. It's a pretty cool seat for babies who can't sit up yet on their own. I was hoping he would like it enough that he wouldn't want me to hold him all the time.

He seems to like it for a little while but then wants me to pick him up. He sits up really well in it and he loves to grab his toes while he is sitting in it. I just want to eat this little guy, he is so darn cute!

Once Noah saw this he of course had to try it out. He couldn't miss out on all the fun!

Mother's Day

This was my third Mother's Day. I'm so grateful to be a Mom to two handsome little boys. They make me laugh, make me smile, make me crazy and make my heart melt- especially when they are sleeping.

We went to the Layton Park with my family. Noah and Alex loved feeding the ducks.

Boxes, Boxes and More Boxes

Thank goodness it's the 10th! I finally got all of my kits shipped out. It really takes about a good week to get them all packaged and out of here. I am so relieved when the huge Post Office truck pulls out. Here is just a small part of the US boxes. This isn't even the international kits either.

It's crazy, I never would have guessed that scrapbooking would be a worldwide hobby. I have members from all over in Europe, Japan, Australia and just got an order from a lady in South Africa!

It really is so much work, shipping is just one part of running Mosh Posh. There is ordering, billing, updating the website, and on and on and on. But what a blessing it has been for me to be able to stay home with the boys and do something that I enjoy.

Rolling Over

Madden has hit his first milestone-rolling over. He started rolling onto his side yesterday and by this morning he was able to do it. He will be 4 months on the 10th-so he is doing this about a month earlier than Noah did. He is getting so big so fast. I can't believe he is already 4 months.

Besides rolling over he has been grabbing and holding at hang toys on his bouncy seat and he has been trying to pull himself up, it looks like he is doing sit ups. He's our little butterball.

Things I'm Loving...

Every morning at breakfast I read at least one chapter. Back in February I read an article in the Ensign titled "Living a Balanced Life". I find my days go much better and that I have time to get to most everything I have to do that day.

I have been loving American Idol. Sad to see Brooke go-but will be rooting for the two David's.

I love "Tempting" eye shadow from MAC. Goes great with Retrospeck too.
I love the Buckle. It get's me into a lot of trouble though. I just bought these shoes a couple of weeks ago. They have tons of cute tops and jewelery. Whenever I walk in, I always end up walking out with something.

After I had Madden I started doing "The Firm" I had never heard of it before but it is amazing! Talk about a workout-it kills me. I love that you incorporate weights with cardio. I've only been doing it for about 2 1/2 months but I have already lost all of my pregnancy weight and feel better than I have in a long time.

I Love these! No they seriously are to die for. Plus, they are good for you! I buy a huge box of them at Costco and we go through them in about 3 weeks.
